Global Funeral Parlour is one of the three non-profit funeral parlours managed by Tung Wah Group of Hospitals, with the others being Diamond Hill Funeral Parlour and Universal Funeral Parlour. Tung Wah took over management and renamed it as Global Funeral Parlour in November 2018, securing a five-year operational right.
Global Funeral Parlour spans five floors, featuring 21 halls of varying sizes. The largest halls on the first floor, “Global Wisdom Hall” and “Global Grace Hall”, each accommodate 120 people; seven halls on the ground and third floors each accommodate 80 people; six smaller halls on both the fourth and fifth floors each accommodate 50 people. The fifth floor is a smoke-free and quiet area, equipped with facilities such as lecterns and electronic organs for Christian and Catholic ceremonies. In addition, the parlour offers traditional Chinese and Western vigil and funeral services, as well as a three-hour daytime “transit funeral service.”
